We are seeking an experienced Flow Cytometrist to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, managing, and troubleshooting flow cytometry systems, with hands-on expertise in instrument maintenance and data analysis. This role requires proficiency working with Beckman Coulter platforms and the ability to optimise protocols for a range of cellular applications.  

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Beckman Coulter flow cytometers.  

- Design, develop, and validate flow cytometry assays for clinical and research use.  

- Provide technical oversight of sample preparation, data acquisition, and analysis.  

- Establish quality control standards and ensure compliance with laboratory guidelines.  

- Train and support laboratory staff in best practices for flow cytometry applications.  

- Stay current with advances in flow cytometry technology and methods.

Qualifications and Experience

- Degree in biomedical science, medical laboratory science, immunology, or related field.  

- Demonstrated expertise in multi-parameter flow cytometry.  

- Proven experience in troubleshooting complex cytometry issues.  

- Familiarity with Beckman Coulter software and instrumentation.  

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  

- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
