Production Operator

About the Role

Rostered shifts:

  • 4 shifts on 4 shifts off, rotating through days and nights
  • 12 hour shifts days 6am-6pm nights 6pm-6am
  • Average day shift pay rate is $34-35 per hour

Shift Loadings:

  • Afternoon shift: +15%
  • Night shift: +20%
  • Permanent night shift: +30%

Working in the modern purpose-built production areas, you will be learning all aspects of operating and monitoring equipment, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and working as part a team to ensure production targets are meet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating production machinery and equipment with precision and care
  • Handling raw materials and finished components with a focus on quality
  • Following safety procedures and production protocols
  • Supporting your team to meet targets and assisting in operations running smoothly
  • Working across shifts in a modern, and safety-first facility

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current C Class Drivers Licence and reliable transport
  • A Safety-first mindset
  • Reliable and physically fit individual with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to competently complete a basic numeracy and literacy test
  • Pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
  • Undergo a National Police check
  • Provide 2 references including one professional/supervisor
