Meat Processor/Labourer

About the role

This full-time Meat Processor/Labourer position in Penrith, NSW offers an exciting opportunity to join an established pet meat company. In this hands-on position, you will play a key part in the production and distribution of high-quality pet food products.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing, cutting, and packaging pet meat products to meet production targets and quality standards

• Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles

• Collaborating with the production team to identify and implement process improvements

• Adhering to all health, safety, and NSW Food Industry regulations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a meat processing role but not essential.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced team environment

• Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina

• Commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards

• Forklift license or willingness to obtain one

• First Aid certification preferred or prepared to gain one.

• Retail experience with a strong customer service background would be an advantage.

• Farm and animal welfare experience also an advantage.
