We're seeking a full-time Senior Designer/Junior Art Director for the agency with experience across both brand development and campaign creative. Ideally you'll have at least 5 years experience at an agency, working as a Senior Designer for at least 2 years.

You'll be responsible for the creative implementation of strategic brand ideas through the design of identity systems and branded experiences, as well as art directing campaigns and shoots. You'll be joining a hands-on team who are passionate about doing great work.

This is an opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced strategists, creatives and developers on integrated brands and award-worthy campaigns across the consumer and b2b sectors.

Salary is dependent on experience but, most importantly, talent.

The agency

Type + Pixel is a small-but-perfectly-formed creative studio specialising in brand and digital. It was founded in 2016 by two former big agency heads who wanted to create a different kind of agency: one staffed almost exclusively by experienced creatives and strategists who who share our belief that amazing work starts, not with a project brief, but with a deep understanding of our clients' brands.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Here's what you'll be involved in day to day:

  • Work with the senior team to define brand and campaign strategy
  • Design brand identities and frameworks
  • Concept creative for B2B and B2C campaigns
  • Art direction of shoots, digital and motion
  • Artwork and production
  • Guardianship of our client brands
  • Clear communication with client and internal agency team
  • Maintaining and developing strong client relationships
  • Pitching and presenting creative to clients
  • Leading the development and improvement of design processes

Skills and experience

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years experience in a design role
  • A deep understanding of, and passion for, creating brands
  • Experience in designing brand identity frameworks
  • Experience in developing ATL campaigns
  • Ability to work across multiple projects, think on your feet and prioritise workload
  • Proactive self-motivator with a keen interest in design and strategy
  • A team player with a positive attitude
