SAMCo is hiring - Clarke Creek Wind Farm – one of Australia's largest renewable energy projects. Located in Central Queensland, Clarke Creek is a game-changer, delivering 450 MW of clean and reliable renewable energy in its first stage alone powering homes, businesses, and industries.

About the role

This is a permanent and full-time site-based roster opportunity based in Clarke Creek.

As the Service Technician within Stanwell Asset Maintenance Company's (SAMCo's), ensure all activities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.

Key activities include:

  • Provide day to day technical maintenance related work at SAMCo, Stanwell locations and host sites while complying with Statutory or Health Safety and Environmental requirements.
  • Provide all technical work associated with the preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance, and installation activities for sites.
  • Timely response to corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, diagnose, and correction of faults.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are used correctly and maintained in safe working order.
  • Communicate (oral and written) within all levels of the organisation (including the OEM and client).

About you

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current "C" or "MR" or "HR" Driver's Licence.
  • White Card.
  • Mechanical Trade qualifications.

Essential Experience:

  • Significant experience in heavy industry mechanical maintenance techniques.
  • Experience in planning and scheduling of resources for plant outage is desirable.
  • Proven effective communication skills (oral and written).
  • Travel intrastate and interstate from time to time.
