About the Role

Rockhampton Key and Lock (RKL Security) is seeking an experienced Security Technician to join our team in Rockhampton. This full-time position is an integral part of our operations, responsible for providing high-quality services to our residential and commercial customers. As a Security Technician, you will work closely with our clients to ensure their security needs are met efficiently and effectively.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide a range of electronic services including alarm installations, access control systems and CCTV installations
  • Offering advice and recommendations to clients on the most suitable security solutions
  • Maintain an organised inventory of tools and supplies
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously improve our service offerings
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety and security standards

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a qualified Security Technician
  • Strong technical skills in installation and repairs
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • A valid driver's licence
