A leading Building Supplies Company based in Toowoomba has a job vacancy truck driver. The company produces and distributes metal building products and associated accessories to the commercial and residential building industries and suppliers.

The role of the Truck Driver (Semi Truck) is to ensure goods are delivered with the utmost of care to customers in a timely manner, whilst providing quality customer service. This position will act as a pivotal point between Dispatch staff and customers to ensure continual smooth branch operations.

Duties Include:

  • Multi drop deliveries drops per delivery run)
  • Hiab Unloading of material at each drop where required.
  • Delivering goods to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Ensuring quality customer service is provided at all times.
  • Providing accurate information at all times.
  • Collecting goods from Suppliers when requested.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is filled in accurately at all times.
  • Complying with all WH&S and Company policies and procedures.
  • Photographing all deliveries (with clarity) at all times.

To Succeed in the roll:

  • Truck HC (Heavy Combination) or higher and Forklift licenses are essential.
  • Previous Hiab experience favoured.
  • Committed to providing superior customer service.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Able to take direction and work in a team environment.
  • Time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • 3 years minimum experience required in HC Vehicle.
