The Role:

As a Local Owner Truck Driver based in Regency Park, you'll become part of a close knit professional team of drivers, who are the backbone of our Wharf Cartage business.  Ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of shipping containers throughout Adelaide. This role demands a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

About the role:

  • Day shift with some flexibility for peak times
  • Perform Prestart checks on truck and trailers to be used for the day and ensure any issues are reported immediately
  • Communicating effectively with our operations team and customers to ensure smooth delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure truck and trailer cleanliness always
  • Sideloader operations – training provided if required
  • MSIC required
  • Customer facing
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and fellow team members.

About you:

  • You have a valid HC or MC license with demonstrated driving experience
  • You can work unsupervised, manage responsibilities effectively and you can use your initiative.
  • Are well presented, safety focused, and customer focused.
  • You have a high level of attention to detail.
  • You take pride in your work and have a can-do attitude.
