Getting into our Apprenticeship program is the perfect launch pad for a fantastic career and, importantly for many people, to 'earn while you learn'. As part of our Apprenticeship program you'll be paid to study and train on the job as you work towards becoming a qualified automotive mechanic with a nationally recognised qualification.

Eagers Automotive SA Division - SA Cars comprises of 24 locations including Stillwell Ford, BYD, Eblen Subaru, Cornes Toyota, Main North Nissan, Chery and Renault, Southern Vales Nissan, Reynella Hyundai, Reynella Subaru, Adrian Brien Group, Porsche Centre Adelaide, Adelaide BMW & Mini, Medindie BMW & Mini, Newspot Group, Easyauto123, Rebel Ford and Stillwell Hyundai.

What you will bring:

  • A passion for cars
  • Certificate II in Automotive Repair and Servicing (optional)
  • Enthusiastic, reliable and a great work ethic
  • A genuine interest in all things mechanic
  • Drivers licence or working towards obtaining P's

What you will be doing:

  • Regular servicing of vehicles including standard maintenance
  • Balance and rotate tyres
  • Diagnose vehicle faults
  • Remove, inspect, repair or replace various vehicle components
  • Document all work
  • Understand and work with all health, safety and environmental guidelines
  • Work and communicate as part of a team
