About the role

Motackle and Outdoors' is seeking an experienced eCommerce Department Manager/Assistant Manager to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing and optimising our growing online retail operations, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce department, including inventory management, order processing, and customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall eCommerce user experience.
  • Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of motackle's values and policys.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the eCommerce team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Over seeing a team of 5-6 on a daily basis.

What we're looking for

  • A professional people person with the ability to solve problems quickly and proficient in conflict resolution.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in eCommerce management, with a proven track record of driving growth and improving operational efficiency (preferred, but not necessary)
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication abilities.
  • Passion for the retail, fishing and outdoor industry, with an understanding of emerging trends and customer behaviours.
