East Melbourne VIC, Australia Epworth Healthcare Full time $50,000 - $70,000 per year

Working on the Post Natal Ward, based in East Melbourne (Victoria Parade), you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient ward operations and excellence in customer service to all patients, visitors, medical staff and unit staff.

This is a permanent part-time role working in Epworth Maternity Services, 2 days a week.

You will make an impact by:

  • Greeting and directing visitors to the ward
  • Admissions and discharges
  • Managing phone calls and enquiries
  • Liaising with all areas of the healthcare team and key external stakeholders including the treating teams, support services and referrers
  • Being available at short notice to work weekdays

Your well-developed customer service and general people skills see you adjust quickly and work effectively as part of any team that you join. Excellent with your time management and organisation skills, you have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work.

You will have:

  • Previous administration experience (healthcare experience desirable)
  • Understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements
  • A proactive approach and 'can do' attitude
  • Flexible approach to work schedules
