We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software for autonomous vehicles. You will be expected to have strong programming skills and experience in designing and implementing complex software systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control software for autonomous systems

  • Develop software tools to aid in the testing and debugging of autonomous systems

  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure compatibility with other products

  • Optimise software performance for resource-constrained autonomous systems

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software products

Experience with some of following skills is desirable:

  • Autonomous systems

  • Multiple programming languages

  • Real-time operating systems

You need:

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent

  • Eligibility to meet Baseline security clearance requirements

  • Not be a prohibited person under Section 3 of the Firearms Act 1996 (Victoria)

A dynamic, agile and enthusiastic applicant who operates well in a multidisciplinary team environment will suit this role.

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain a Baseline clearance.
