As a result of continued growth within Seisma Group an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join one of our premium banking clients under Cards team.

Role :

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support the delivery of card projects and BAU initiatives across Consumer and Commercial products for Credit and Debit. The ideal candidate will have hands-on testing experience in banking, with specific expertise in credit card migration and lifecycle systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop comprehensive UAT and BVT test plans.
  • Write detailed UAT test cases.
  • Contribute to test effort estimations.
  • Identify test environment requirements, including data and batch needs.
  • Create and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
  • Review business requirements and system test plans.
  • Execute UAT test cases and BVT plans.
  • Raise and prioritize defects.
  • Conduct retesting of resolved issues.
  • Provide input for post-implementation reviews.
  • Support card projects and BAU initiatives for Consumer and Commercial products.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality Credit and Debit card systems.
  • Execute changes to banking systems through rigorous testing processes.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage test execution priorities.
  • Generate and maintain test documentation.

Required Qualifications and Skills :

  • Proven experience as a Senior QA Analyst in the banking sector (Cards experience is mandatory)
  • Hands-on testing experience with credit card systems
  • In-depth understanding of credit card lifecycle and related banking systems
  • Experience with credit card migration projects
  • Strong knowledge of UAT and BVT methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
  • Experience with automation testing tools
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
