Your potential is our inspiration.**Your Focus**Responsible for Quality Assurance activities that provide IFF the capability to produce high quality product and comply with food safety requirements. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role is located in Dandenong South, Melbourne and has one direct report.**Where You'll Make a Difference*** Assist the Quality Manager in the direction and implementation of HACCP, allergen control, sanitation, GMP, FSSC22000 and compliance programs.* Act as delegate to Quality Manager, where directed and as required.* Develop, update and maintain processes to efficiently and effectively provide the facility with quality and food safety systems as well as quality control policies, principles and standards.* Maintain and improve accreditation programs including AIB, NSF, HACCP and ISO through the application and maintenance of quality procedures and documentation.* Facilitate and participate in GMP and housekeeping audits in the facility, coordinate third party audits on site by customers and regulatory bodies, coordinate and conduct internal audits on the company quality, food safety and product safety management systems.* Conduct external vendor quality audits on ingredient and packaging suppliers, toll manufacturers and 3PL service providers.* Coordinate product, process, raw material related internal non conformances and customer complaints to ensure timely investigation reporting, follow up on recommendations and implementation of corrective and preventative actions which may involve improvements in processes and procedures.* Provide GMP, HACCP, allergen, quality and food safety training for the site.* Coordination and supervision of QA activities, ensuring adherence to metrics and KPIs* Guide and support the Quality Assurance Specialist in managing all quality assurance programs.* Provide support to the Technical Information Specialist in managing customer enquiries relating to technical matters and documentation aspects as required.* Assist IFF New Zealand in audits as required.* Partake in sensory evaluation of products (all meats, seafood, alcohol, chemicals and sugar-based materials).**What Makes You the Right Fit*** Degree in Science, Food Science or Engineering* Minimum 5 years' experience in food manufacturing or related industry, specifically in quality assurance, quality systems with a broad understanding of Quality and Regulatory requirements.* Working knowledge of HACCP, sanitation, allergen control and GMP* Strong verbal and technical writing skills* Proficient in MS Office* Continuous improvement methodology and lean manufacturing principles* Understanding of dry blending, liquids, spray dry and reaction flavour manufacturing processes and ingredients* Working knowledge of SAP* Professional onboarding process* Multinational and supporting environment* Training opportunities* Learning and development programs from day oneSmo vodilni v svetu na področju okusa, vonja in prehrane, svojim strankam ponujamo širši nabor naravnih rešitev in pospešujemo našo strategijo rasti.
