Warehouse Officer – Large Utilities Organisation

  • Up to $45 p/h + super
  • Somersby Location (onsite role)
  • 6 month contract with extensions

Primary Purpose of the Role:

Support daily warehouse and logistics operations through accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials. Ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency across inventory control, materials handling, and stock management processes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
  • Operate forklifts and maintain warehouse safety standards
  • Conduct stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and update records
  • Use ERP/WMS systems (SAP preferred) to manage stock and reporting
  • Maintain housekeeping, follow safety and environmental procedures
  • Work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or procurement roles
  • Current Class C driver's licence and valid forklift licence (reach licence preferred)
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse systems
  • Competent with Word, Excel, email, and ERP applications
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused

Desirable

  • Qualification in Procurement or Logistics
  • Experience within industrial or utilities environments
  • Dogman ticket
