About The Opportunity
Join one of Australia's most transformative infrastructure projects.
As a
Contract Administrator
, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Inland Rail Project Delivery Team. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day administration of contract documents, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all contractual matters.

This is your opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant rail infrastructure program that's reshaping freight movement across Australia.

Key Responsibilities May Include

  • Administer contracts efficiently, including payment reviews and authorisations.
  • Monitor and implement processes to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Assess and manage contract variations, disputes, and claims.
  • Liaise with Legal Counsel on complex contractual matters.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
  • Ensure receipt and accuracy of insurances and securities.
  • Maintain commercial registers and ensure timely documentation.
  • Support month-end reporting with accurate cost forecasts.
  • Uphold ethical standards and probity across all contract functions.
  • Ensure compliance with Inland Rail's policies, IMS, EMS, and CARE values.
  • Foster collaborative relationships and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace.

About You
To thrive in this role, you'll be a detail-driven team player with strong commercial instincts and a passion for delivering contract excellence in a fast-paced project environment.

Additionally, You Should Be Able To Demonstrate

  • Tertiary qualifications in construction, quantity surveying, law, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in contract administration within large infrastructure projects (Ideally a Rail Infrastructure project).
  • Strong understanding of design & construction contracts and commercial principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A clear understanding of ethical practices and probity within a large organisation
