We are seeking a Vehicle Builds Specialist to oversee specialist and custom vehicle builds – for Commercial assets. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our vehicle builds are safe, compliant, and cost-effective, while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Included In What You'll Do

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, internal teams, and partners, offering expert advice on vehicle build safety and commerciality.
  • Lead the delivery of safe, compliant, and cost-effective builds that meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure all builds meet regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Create Maintenance (including components) budgets and Tyre budgets
  • Select appropriate base vehicles and equipment options (e.g., chassis, bodies, accessories).
  • Ensure all vehicle modifications comply with ADRs (Australian Design Rules), NHVR standards, and state-specific regulations.

What You Have

  • Strong background in budgeting for service/maintenance and Tyre costs across leased commercial assets.
  • Knowledge of road transport compliance (NHVR, PBS, ADR).
  • Experience in commercial vehicle builds.
  • Technical knowledge in specialist and custom vehicle builds, with a focus on compliance and safety.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse supply chains and deliver results within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
