About The Role
Are you ready to spark innovation and roll with a team that's redefining digital experiences?
We're looking for a cloud-native Data Engineer to join ROLLiN' to help build and scale our data ecosystem on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you'll design and maintain robust ELT pipelines and orchestrated data solutions that power decision-making across pricing, marketing, operations, and finance.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with the Manager of Data and collaborate with analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to turn data into commercial value.
Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include
- Support the migration from AWS and Snowflake to GCP, ensuring data quality, performance, and integrity
- Design and maintain scalable ELT pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using tools like dbt, BigQuery, and Cloud Composer.
- Develop and automate data workflows through CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable datasets and dashboards.
This is a
12–18-month, Max-Term Contract role
, offers a flexible hybrid work model. We welcome applicants from Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Meanjin (Brisbane).
About You
- Excellent hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, GCS, Pub/Sub).
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, and modern ELT tools like dbt.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for clean, structured data and enabling analytics and reporting.
- Familiarity with AWS, Snowflake, or DynamoDB.
- Exposure to Salesforce, Redbook, or other SaaS APIs.
