Join our team as a Laundry Attendant and play a vital role in keeping our community looking fresh and clean. As a Laundry Attendant atSnowflake Laundry and Linen Services, you'll be responsible for operating commercial-grade washing machines, dryers, towel folders, and ironing equipment to process large batches of laundry efficiently. Your attention to detail will ensure that all laundry is sorted, clean, pressed, and neatly folded.

What You'll Be Doing:

Laundry Operations:

  • Wash large batches of laundry using commercial-grade washing machines.
  • Operate dryers to ensure clothes are thoroughly dried.
  • Operate ironing machines to press and finish laundry to a high standard.
  • Fold laundry neatly and efficiently.

Health and Safety:

  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including proper manual handling of equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Maintenance and Reporting:

  • Coordinate with supervisors to report any issues related to machines or equipment.
  • Submit necessary incident reports as required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean record and a current National Police Check.
  • Full-time working rights.
  • The physical ability to lift and handle heavy laundry loads and other items.
  • Physical stamina for prolonged and repetitive tasks.
  • A punctual, reliable, and customer-service oriented attitude.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in delivery or laundry work is a bonus, but not essential.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay rate: $29 - $35 per hour plus superannuation (plus penalty rates for overtime and public holidays when applicable).
  • Location: This position is based in Collingwood, Victoria.
