About Thornlands State School
Our school has a current enrolment of 800 students from Prep to Year 6. About the Role
As the Deputy Principal of the Upper School (Years 4 - 6), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Leading the Upper School portfolio.
A strong curriculum knowledge, particularly around Literacy, engagement and inclusion.
As part of the Leadership team, lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
Deputise for the Principal when required.
Promote socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
