The Role

Our Smithfield site in Western Sydney, manufactures a range of more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink and water ice products. The site currently manufactures approximately 110 million litres of finished goods every year including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura and Zooper Dooper. 

The Maintenance Electrician will provide electrical support for site operational breakdown, maintenance, and improvement requirements. Seek innovative solutions and perform tests on equipment by the standards and procedures of quality, safety, and environment to ensure the elimination of defects.

The candidate is required to work on permanent full-time basic, 38 hours per week. The role will offer salary package with shift loading at 15% for afternoon shift & 30% for night shift with occasional overtime. The shift details are below:

• Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 2PM to 10PM

• Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday 10PM to 6AM

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance inspections

• Improve workforce productivity by eliminating potential delays by technical support and fault finding of electrical issues.

• Coach peers and operation team members in equipment use and maintenance

• Ensure all work meets engineering and food safety standards

• Support site initiatives such as Continuous Improvement & Safety-First Culture

About you

• Full licensed electrician with similar experience in a manufacturing environment

• Advanced structured problem-solving skills including root cause analysis

• PLC fault finding – Allen Bradley, Siemens, SCADA

• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and P&ID's
