Hours: Day Shift – Monday to Thursday (6:00am–2:00pm), Friday (6:00am–12:00pm)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems across machinery and building infrastructure
  • Attend and respond to breakdowns, conducting fault diagnosis using PLC software
  • Maintain and troubleshoot VSDs/VFDs and other automation components
  • Complete scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Inspect and maintain electrical distribution boards and low-voltage systems
  • Carry out project work, shutdown maintenance, and electrical upgrades as directed
  • Ensure maintenance logs, breakdown records, and work orders are completed accurately and on time
  • Conduct thermographic testing and monitor power factor correction systems
  • Adhere to safety procedures and participate in site risk assessments
  • Participate in on-call roster and assist other trades when required
  • Contribute to reliability improvements through root cause analysis and corrective actions
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Current unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence
  • Minimum 3+ years of industrial electrical experience (domestic or commercial-only experience will not be considered)
  • Strong knowledge and experience with PLCs, VSDs, automation, and robotics
  • Forklift, boom lift, or EWP licence (desirable)
  • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work across trades when needed
  • Strong understanding of WHS and risk management in industrial environments
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
