About the role

Suncorp Electrical are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join their team in Wollongong, NSW on a full-time basis. As the Electrical Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all electrical work on construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are upheld.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of electrical tradespeople to complete all electrical installations and maintenance on construction sites
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules and procedures to optimise productivity and efficiency
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or delays
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations and company policies
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Provide training to upskill junior team members
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for all project activities

What we're looking for

  • Qualified electrician with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or foreman role with a special focus on high rise apartments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and motivating teams in construction environments
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Thorough understanding of electrical codes, regulations and safety requirements
