Residency by Dillons is a boutique family run aged care company that operates four aged care facilities located across Western Australia and in Queensland. Our homes provide residents with equal access to care in a supportive and friendly environment. We respect residents' traditional and cultural backgrounds and provide an environment of peace, security, and harmony, allowing them to live creatively and independently.

We are currently seeking a WHS, Asset and Procurement Officer to undertake the following tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Asset Management to include maintaining Asset registers across all sites.
  • Contract Management to include all supplies and services.
  • Stock Control, Deliveries, Waste management at all sites.
  • Lead and manage WH&S across all sites. Hazard reporting and register management.
  • Lead 'Environment' at Quality Meetings assist with onsite audit preparation and presentation.
  • Responsible for Preventative and Corrective Maintenance. Day to day liaison with onsite management and maintenance staff, responsible to maintaining maintenance schedules.
  • Regular meetings with maintenance personnel to overview schedule and manage onsite projects.
  • Review maintenance cover at each site (leave, significant new items, special projects).
  • Reporting to Executive Director of Corporate Services providing regular updates.

Essential Requirements:

  • Formal Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety (WHS), Health Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field is required. (e.g. Diploma of Work Health and Safety, or Bachelor of Science – Health, Safety and Environment).
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating or leading WHS programs in a high-risk or healthcare/aged care environment.
  • Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation, codes of practice, and risk management frameworks relevant to Aged Care and residential care services.
  • Previous experience in asset and facilities management, ideally within the Aged Care or community services sector.
  • Practical understanding of preventative and corrective maintenance, asset lifecycle management, and contractor engagement.
  • Ability to conduct WHS audits, incident investigations, and hazard assessments.
  • High level of attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Confident using digital systems for reporting, compliance tracking, and record management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and locations.
  • Ability to work autonomously and travel between sites as required.
  • Current National Police Clearance and valid Australian working rights.
  • Recognised WHS Officer competency or experience under Model WHS Regulations will be considered favourably.
