ABOUT THE ROLE
Advisory is a high growth business unit within Pickles and a key pillar of our strategic plan to double the enterprise value of Pickles by 2026, focused on servicing insolvency & restructuring professionals across the country.
Reporting directly to the Head of Advisory, this role is responsible for developing business within a targeted NSW market segment and supporting the Executive Manager - Finance & Advisory NSW in effectively delivering services to our clients at the highest level.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Executing the strategy for the Advisory function in partnership with Executive Manager - Finance & Advisory NSW by promoting Pickles valuation, asset remarketing and other services to a relevant sector within the NSW market
- Accountability for contributing to the Advisory revenue performance in NSW
- Project management of equipment sales and valuation projects relating to the Advisory division in NSW including effective and consistent client communication.
- Coordinating asset remarketing activities with the relevant Operations team/s to drive awesome outcomes for vendors, ensuring sale events are conducted with integrity and professionalism according to Pickles Group procedures
- Meeting and exceeding financial targets through maximising revenues, vendor returns, increasing sales, reducing costs and growing new business
- Developing relationships with client peers by attending industry events and organising opportunities to promote Pickles services.
- Working to meet and exceed KPIs by actively engaging with the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, promoting and monitoring usage of the system and participating in coordination of sales activities and efforts
- Promoting teamwork within the Advisory division and the broader Pickles business
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or another related curriculum are desirable
- Understands the industry, market and product/service trends affecting the organisation's effectiveness to drive increased revenue
- Exceptional communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to engage with a team to deliver sustained momentum and employee engagement, leveraging robust operating rhythms and clear accountability
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong negotiation skills and customer orientation to ensure growth, strong returns and an appropriate risk position
- At least 3+ years of Finance, Risk or Sales Experience, or equivalent
- Prior experience in Asset Valuation industry is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact will all levels of an organisation, and build deep value add relationships at the management level
- Demonstrates an ability to exceeds Pickles values
