Clinical Naturopath or Nutritionist

About the Role

We are seeking a degree qualified Clinical Naturopath or Nutritionist who thrives in a retail environment and is confident in recommending over-the-counter supplements (including herbal formulations). The role combines 3 days per week on our shop floor and for the right candidate an opportunity to access and practice within our Wellness Clinic. This position is ideal for a practitioner wanting to balance retail experience with the independence to expand their private practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist our wonderful customers with product enquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations and advice
• Operating the POS system and transacting sales
• Restocking shelves and maintaining a clean, organised store environment
• Unpacking deliveries, marking off invoices and rotating stock
• Support and collaborate with team members in a busy retail setting

What we are looking for

• Bachelor of Health Science in either Naturopathy or Nutritional Medicine (or equivalent)
• Ideally at least 3+ years experience in clinical practice
• Registered with an Australian registry body for Naturopathy and/or Nutritional Medicine
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Personal Indemnity, Public Liability & Product Liability Insurance
• Confident in recommending nutritional and herbal supplements in a retail setting
• Availability to commit to at least 3 days per week on the shop floor (including Mondays and Tuesdays)
• Experience in a similar business or fast-paced hospitality venue
• A strong understanding of and a passion for food, health, sustainability and wellness
• Strong communication skills, punctuality, reliability, and a proactive, hands on approach
• Common sense, energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the role
