WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As an Air Conditioning Apprentice, you'll assist qualified technicians with the inspection, cleaning, and servicing of air conditioning and ventilation systems. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience across the electrical and mechanical components of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems while completing a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

You'll learn how to:

  • Service and maintain air conditioning and ventilation systems.
  • Perform routine checks, clean coils, and replace filters to improve efficiency.
  • Diagnose faults in mechanical, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
  • Assist with breakdowns, repairs, and installations across commercial sites.
  • Work with senior technicians and mechanical engineers to ensure systems run safely and efficiently.
  • Understand energy efficiency and preventative maintenance best practices.
  • Follow all WHS and ARCtick regulatory requirements.

  • White Card required (or willing to obtain).
  • Driver's licence preferred.
