Brightstar Resources (ASX: BTR) owns and operates the Second Fortune and Fish Gold Mines in the Laverton Goldfields region of Western Australia, with projects extending across Laverton, Menzies, and Sandstone. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Underground Mine Geologist at our FISH Mine to be part of our dynamic team focused on ramping up the mine operations at a narrow vein underground mine on an 8/6 roster.

Joining a small technical team responsible for undertaking all aspects of geology at the operation, your duties will include:

  • Face mapping and sampling of development headings
  • geological control of oredrives
  • Exploration and grade control drill programs including QAQC
  • Maintain geological database
  • Produce geological maps
  • Wireframe and block model development
  • Mill and mine reconciliations
  • Planning of regional surface drill programs

You will have excellent communication, previous experience as a Mine Geologist in an underground mine. Experience in Leapfrog and Rock Mapper is highly regarded.
