Handyman / Maintenance Technician – Brisbane

We are a growing handyman services business based in Brisbane, providing high-quality maintenance, repair, and improvement solutions for residential and commercial clients. Our services include carpentry, painting, fencing, deck work, plastering, and general property maintenance. With a reputation for reliability and craftsmanship, we are now expanding and looking for the right person to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Handyman / Maintenance Technician to assist on a wide variety of property maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will initially work alongside the owner/operator and, once trained, have the ability to manage jobs independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general repairs, installations, and maintenance (carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, fencing, etc.).
  • Support in larger projects such as deck sanding, fence installations, and property make-ready services for real estate clients.
  • Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintain safe work practices and uphold quality standards.
  • Manage tools, materials, and site cleanliness.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in handyman, construction, carpentry, or property maintenance (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in handyman or maintenance work is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
  • White Card (preferred but not essential).
  • Australian permanent residency is required for this position.
  • Successful candidates must undergo police checks and other required clearances.
