We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a dynamic logistics and compliance program on a contract basis. This role will play a key part in driving business process improvements across international logistics operations, customs compliance, commercial freight, and customer lodgement channels.
You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver solutions that streamline customs clearance (including duties and taxes), optimize freight and logistics processes, and support finance integration for billing and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis for projects focused on international logistics and customs compliance
  • Design and implement processes around commercial freight and logistics regulations
  • Drive improvements across customer lodgement channels including online, over-the-counter, and API platforms
  • Collaborate with finance teams to enhance billing and invoicing systems related to logistics services
  • Apply formal business analysis methodologies to gather and document requirements, run workshops, and produce process maps
  • Engage and communicate effectively with senior business stakeholders to negotiate and articulate solutions
  • Work alongside technical teams (infrastructure, security, networking, data) to ensure solution alignment
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external parties to ensure project milestones are met
Ideal Candidate
  • 10+ years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst, preferably within large or complex organisations
  • Strong knowledge of international logistics, customs clearance, duties, and tax compliance
  • Experience with commercial freight and logistics operations, processes, and regulations
  • Proven expertise with customer lodgement channels including digital and over-the-counter methods
  • Experience working with financial systems for billing and invoicing in a logistics environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across senior business and technical teams
  • Experience coordinating vendor engagements to support delivery of business and technical solutions
