As our Senior Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure, delivering high-quality analytics, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

About the Role

This newly created position offers a rare opportunity to shape how data is embedded in our business from the ground up. You'll work cross-functionally and with external vendors to:

  • Build and maintain clean, validated datasets from internal and external sources.
  • Develop insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI for operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Support data governance, quality monitoring, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data pipelines and reporting solutions.
  • Contribute to exploratory Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning initiatives.

Technology You'll Use

  • Core Tools: SQL, Python, Power BI (DAX, Power Query)
  • Cloud & Data Platforms: Azure Data Services, Databricks, Snowflake (desirable)

What We're Looking For

  • Strong foundations in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
  • Experience in data wrangling, pipeline development, and visualisation.
  • Understanding of data governance, compliance, and quality frameworks.
  • Ability to work across data sets, spot patterns, and draw actionable insights.
  • Collaborative and curious mindset with a strong attention to detail.

Bonus If You Have

  • Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or other regulated industries.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts, prompt engineering, or agentic AI platforms.
  • Familiarity with Azure, NLP, or predictive modelling.
