Our beautiful Nido Secret Harbourservice is looking for a passionate and dedicated educator to join our team. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and are passionate about delivering contemporary educational practices for our children, educators, and families.

ABOUT THE SERVICE:

  • 82 place single story service with a long-standing Manager
  • Close to local coffee shop and supermarket
  • Caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 2 stunning outdoor play areas as well as a piazza unique atelier.
  • Strong management team to couch and guide you through your career
  • Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation.
  • Opening hours - 6:30am-630pm - Monday-Friday

ABOUT YOU:

  • Hold a certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood (or equivalent)
  • Be able to work open and closing shifts on a rotating roster
  • Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs
  • In-depth experience working in a childcare service
  • Be confident in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and interests
  • Have strong communication and time-management skills
  • A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
