Located in the heart of the nation's capital, and now spanning three campuses, CGGS provides a world-class educational and co-curricular offering in the CYGNUS suite. Perfectly positioned at mid-sized with over 1300 students, the School is co-educational from Early Learning to Year 3, then female-focused through to Year 12.
In working at CGGS, you will be inspired by the founders of Canberra's first independent school to contribute and leave your mark on generations to come. The position
Take your career in education and pastoral care to the next level by working with our boarders during student term time. As a Boarding House Supervisor, you will assist with the running of the Boarding House and provide active support and supervision to our boarders.
You will need to demonstrate compassion and be a caring member of our team and be capable of fostering strong, positive, and respectful relationships with our students.
The role would suit an individual who ideally has had previous experience supporting adolescent girls in a residential environment, or an education/welfare setting and/or candidates working towards a qualification in education, psychology, youth work or counselling.
The role of a Boarding House Supervisor is varied and includes:
- Leading and supervising students in the school's Boarding House environment
- Supervising and attending activities and outings, providing pastoral care and guidance
- Assisting with the organisation and operation of the school's Boarding House
Duty is generally scheduled during student term time and is primarily scheduled in the evenings and on weekends.
