- Provide adequate care and supervision of children and young people in their charge.

- Must provide a current Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP) prior to commencement.
- Must provide an Australian Police Check prior to commencement. If applying from overseas, an international police check is required.
The position
Take your career in education and pastoral care to the next level by working with our boarders during student term time. As a Boarding House Supervisor, you will assist with the running of the Boarding House and provide active support and supervision to our boarders.
You will need to demonstrate compassion and be a caring member of our team and be capable of fostering strong, positive, and respectful relationships with our students.
The role would suit an individual who ideally has had previous experience supporting adolescent girls in a residential environment, or an education/welfare setting and/or candidates working towards a qualification in education, psychology, youth work or counselling.
The role of a Boarding House Supervisor is varied and includes:
- Leading and supervising students in the school's Boarding House environment
- Supervising and attending activities and outings, providing pastoral care and guidance
- Assisting with the organisation and operation of the school's Boarding House
Duty is generally scheduled during student term time and is primarily scheduled in the evenings and on weekends. As this is a live-in position, you will be required to work 15 hours per week with meals and accommodation offset against your work, meaning you do not receive payment for this role unless you exceed the 15 hours of duty.
As Boarding House positions involve responsibility for the care of female boarders between the ages of 12 and 18, we are seeking female applicants only.
