About the role

Kids Jungle is seeking a passionate and qualified Diploma Educator or an Educator working towards their Diploma to join our growing team in Narara, NSW. As a Diploma Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to the children in our centre. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the development and wellbeing of young learners in a supportive and nurturing environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Planning and implementing engaging and age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
  2. Ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of all children in your care
  3. Developing positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
  4. Collaborating with the educational team to continuously improve the quality of our service
  5. Completing administrative tasks such as observations, assessments and documentation
  6. Actively participating in professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

  1. A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent, or demonstrated progress towards achieving this qualification
  2. Extensive experience working with children in an early learning environment
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. A strong understanding of child development and the ability to cater to the diverse needs of children
  5. Creativity and a passion for facilitating play-based learning
  6. A genuine commitment to providing high-quality care and education
  7. A valid Working With Children Check
