We are looking for an experienced Disability Support worker to join our team
Care With Confidence are a new up and coming provider with NDIS that provide highly experienced staff. We are based in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne including City of Casey area. Care With Confidence provide In Home Supports. We are committed to client choice and control so participants can live a fulfilled life and supported in achieving their goals.
Whilst working in the Care With Confidence team, we require support workers to assist participants with their daily personal activities, implementing practices that will promote a healthy lifestyle, promoting and assisting participants with their individual care plans and working with their family/carers and any relevant professionals to achieve participants goals. Some participants may need assistance with complex behaviours of concern and personal care aspects. Experience in the areas mentioned are highly recommended.
Duties required for Disability Support Workers include but are not limited to;
Personal Care.
Transportation
Supporting participants in community outings and activities.
Liasing with management to inform of important and crucial information.
General domestic duties.
Contributing to relevant mandatory reporting requirements and documentation including client issues or incident reporting.
Manual handling.
Medication administration.
Understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct, Incident Management and NDIS compliance requirements.
Liasing with rostering, payroll and HR departments for shift adjustments and confirmation.
Providing professionalism whilst delivering high quality services.
Time Management Skills.
Ensuring participants are treated equally and respectfully whilst upholding their dignity and rights through client choice and control.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $36.23 – $38.75 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Required)
- Working with Children Check (Preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Required)
- National Police Certificate (Preferred)
- Driver Licence (Required)
- Certificate IV in Disability (Preferred)

- Australia (Required)
