About Us

Den Devine is the Gold Coast's home of live music and world-inspired food. Located in the heart of Broadbeach, we bring together music, food, and community six nights a week. Our kitchen team plays a huge role in creating the vibrant dining experience our guests know and love.

The Role

We're looking for a Line Cook / Kitchen Hand with at least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen. You'll assist in preparing, cooking, and plating dishes, while keeping the kitchen clean, stocked, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where teamwork, speed, and attention to detail matter – and a great attitude is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating according to Den Devine's standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen stations and equipment.
  • Support the Head Chef and kitchen team in daily operations.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and WH&S procedures at all times.
  • Assist with stock rotation, receiving deliveries, and waste management.
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods, ensuring consistency and quality.

About You

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
  • Hardworking, reliable, and a strong team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and special events.
  • Certificate in Food Handling/Food Safety is an advantage (or willingness to obtain).
