We are seeking a full-time Cert III/ Diploma qualified Child Care Worker to work with us in our family owned childcare centre in Randwick. Our centre is purpose-built and offers quality care to 55 children a day, 5 days per week. This position is for our Senior Room (aged 3-5 Years). You will be fully supported in your role and offered professional development opportunities. This is a full time ongoing position, ideal for someone that can commit long term in our strive for consistency within the service.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in this role. They will have strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality standards.

Essential qualifications needed for the position are:

  • Cert III/ Diploma qualification (ACECQA approved)

  • First aid / CPR / Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and current certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Current Working with Children Check

The Role

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the setup of materials and equipment for educational and recreational activities for children.

  • Managing and guiding children's behavior to promote positive social development.

  • Organizing and leading various activities for children's engagement and learning.

  • Keeping children entertained through storytelling and interactive games.

  • Overseeing children's participation in recreational activities to ensure safety and fun.

  • Monitoring and supporting the daily routines and activities of children.

  • Ensuring proper hygiene practices are followed by children throughout the day.
