The Jamestech Group of Companies are well-respected Electrical & Mechanical Contractors servicing the Mining and Minerals, Oil and Gas industries throughout Australia and Abroad.

Jamestech has for many years assisted several Surface and Underground Hard Rock Mines in North Qld with Project and Maintenance support.

Jamestech have recently been requested to complete a large Electrical installation around Cloncurry.

We are needing to grow our team and require the services of :

Boilermaker / Trades Assistant - Electrical Construction

The roles would suit experienced FIFO workers and also those new to mining who have the relevant skills and attitude.

Essential requirements:

  • Mechanical Trade / Boilermaker
  • Minimum 3 years' Mining / Heavy Industrial Experience
  • Excellent Safety Culture
  • Need to have a good all-round attitude
  • Current Australian Manual Drivers License

Must be able to complete (or already have):

  • First Aid Cert
  • Confined Space, EWP and Working at Heights
  • Workplace Medical and Drug Test
  • Clear National Police Clearance

Date -start ASAP

Rates - similar rates to our Electrical Tradesman

Duration - 3 months minimum (FIFO ex. Mt Isa, Bne, TSV)

(minimum break every 14 days)
