We are Seeking someone for an Immediate Start for the grain season

We are seeking an experienced and driven MC Truck Driver to join our dynamic team North of Jurien Bay, Western Australia. As a full-time Farm Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting our agricultural operations, transporting goods and materials essential to the day-to-day running of our business.

How Many Agricultural MC Drivers can say they live 10 minutes from the beach and only 2 hours from the northern suburbs

You will be driving a modern truck with good quality trailers, ranging from singles, doubles and triples, you will have a huge variety of work, we want you to own your new position and be autonomous, know what you have to get done and get on with it

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operate and manoeuvre MC class vehicles to transport a variety of loads, including Cattle, Grain, Fertiliser, Lime, Hay and Machinery
  2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and report any issues
  3. Adhere to all relevant road rules, transport regulations and company policies and procedures
  4. Loading and unloading of vehicles as required
  5. Maintain accurate records of driving activities, vehicle maintenance and deliveries
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our transport operations
  7. Some Tractor driving and farm work would also be required

What we're looking for

  1. MC class driver's licence with a strong safety record and experience operating heavy vehicles
  2. We would be willing to consider candidates new to MC Heavy Vehicles if they have significant experience with cattle and agricultural exposure
  3. Must have very strong English Language and communication skills
  4. Be Physically fit and willing to climb and get around Cattle Crates
  5. Sound knowledge of road transport regulations and the ability to interpret and apply them
  6. Excellent driving skills and the ability to safely manoeuvre large vehicles in a variety of conditions
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in remote areas
  8. Good communication and customer service skills
  9. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
  10. Experience in the agricultural or pastoral industry is highly regarded
  11. Australian work rights are required for this position
