To continue our growth and success, we are seeking a full-time fabrication apprentice to help within our switchboard manufacturing department.

As an apprentice fabricator specializing in custom sheetmetal and minor structural steel fabrication, you will work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and team-based environment. This hands-on role involves using state of the art equipment to complete large projects, ensuring they meet Australian Standards and client specifications.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in the fabrication of custom sheet metal enclosures according to engineered drawings.
  • Learn and operate CNC equipment (pressbrake, laser cutter, etc.)
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced fabricators and engineers on a daily basis.
  • Develop skills in hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment, ensuring accuracy in tasks.
  • Participate in staff development and training.
