This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Science team at the Queensland Children's Hospital (QCH). QCH is the single specialist children's hospital for the state, providing children's clinical, educational and support services at Clinical Services Capability Framework (CSCF) Level 6 for children and young people from birth to 16 years of age (and up to 18 years for established paediatric patients).

About The Team
The QCH provides the only Tertiary Hospital Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Unit in Queensland, for patients from all over Queensland, as well as northern New South Wales (NSW) and the Pacific Rim.

About The Role
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values . Your contribution will include:

  • Deliver evidence-based paediatric sleep clinical services in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
  • Utilise professional judgement to solve non-routine clinical and technical problems within the paediatric sleep unit.
  • Coordinate overnight monitoring in inpatient and outpatient settings.
