We are currently seeking an
experienced
full-time
Fleet Controller for PM Shift
based at our
Kewdale
site to join the team, supporting our critical night operations across Fremantle and Kewdale.

Role & Responsibilities:


• Schedule, coordinate, and monitor fleet movements during afternoon and evening operations


• Communicate proactively with drivers and customers to ensure smooth job execution


• Allocate work efficiently to maximise productivity and turnaround times on shift


• Maintain safe, cost-effective collection and delivery of freight


• Respond to operational queries from drivers and customers


• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, drivers, and subcontractors


• Process driver run sheets and assist with compliance monitoring


• Manage cut-offs and deadlines to ensure service expectations are met


• Support allocation of drivers and subcontractors to optimise utilisation


• Comply with all OH&S requirements and Company policies

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Fleet Controller/Allocator position
    (essential)
  • Port Experience (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Problem-solving ability within a time-sensitive operational environment
  • Ability to organise work, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Positive and proactive attitude with collaborative mindset
  • Ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a strong team culture
