As our pipeline continues to grow, we are seeking an Associate Director to work closely with senior leaders on project delivery, client relationships and contribute to the firm's continued growth.

The Roles

Associate Directors will work with senior leaders within Workable on significant client engagements, contributing to the shaping of advice and business development. This roles require the ability to work both collaboratively and with a high degree of autonomy, while applying sound judgement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the delivery of property, leasing and strategic advisory engagements.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior government and commercial stakeholders.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities, including contributing to proposals and pipeline growth.
  • Assisting on the end-to-end delivery of business cases, proposals and strategic advisory reports.
  • Preparing and reviewing high-quality written deliverables, including briefs, business cases, investment proposals and strategic reports.
  • Assisting and/or leading market analysis, commercial assessments and options development.
  • Mentoring junior team members and setting clear expectations around quality, structure and rigour.

About you

You are a capable, self-directed professional with strong analytical and written skills, and experience contributing to the delivery of structured advice in property, commercial or government-related environments. You are comfortable taking ownership of work, engaging directly with clients and producing high-quality outputs that stand up to scrutiny.

You will bring:

  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, well-structured and defensible advice.
  • Sound commercial judgement and the ability to independently structure analysis and recommendations.
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities with limited supervision.
  • Confidence contributing to proposal development and identifying opportunities.
  • A practical, delivery-focused mindset and attention to detail.

Skills and Experience

We are seeking capable operators with experience in property, commercial or advisory environments.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Approximately 2–5 years' experience in property advisory, consulting, government or similar commercial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience or capability across procurement, leasing, commercial analysis and/or research.
  • Relevant qualifications or professional licences in property, business, commerce or related disciplines will be well regarded.
  • A minimum Baseline AGSVA security clearance or the ability to obtain.
  • The ability to work from Canberra (ACT) or Gold Coast (QLD), with hybrid arrangements available.
