As an Anaesthetics Nurse you'll provide excellent specialised care to patients undergoing surgical or medical procedures requiring anaesthesia. You'll assist the anaesthetist in preparing, administering and monitoring anaesthesia, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.

Naturally, you'll be skilled and have:

• Initiative and intuition to respond quickly to patient and department needs
• Excellent critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring patient safety at all times
• The ability to stay calm under pressure
• A great sense of teamwork and effective communication skills. You're happy to seek guidance when you need it.
• Ability to use anaesthetic equipment, checking and trouble-shooting the Anaesthetic machine
• Airway management skills
• At least one year's experience
