We are seeking an experienced Product and Marketing Manager to lead Freshmark's product, marketing, and digital growth, reporting directly to the CEO and engaging with the Board on key initiatives and performance outcomes.
The role spans both strategy and delivery, from leading national programs like
A Better Choice
to managing flagship events such as the Cherry Ball. It suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, varied environment with both leadership and hands‑on responsibilities.
- Product ownership and development
– design, launch, and refine member‑facing products and services that are commercially viable and aligned with member needs. Build business cases for new offerings and track their financial and operational performance. - Business growth and performance
– set and monitor revenue, margin, and uptake targets, optimise pricing strategies, and work with the Business Development Specialist to convert opportunities into results. - Marketing and communications
– create and deliver campaigns, content, and digital engagement that drive product uptake, member engagement, and brand visibility. Oversee key channels including newsletters, social media, and the Year in Review. - Digital platforms
– manage and optimise HubSpot (Sales & Marketing Hubs) and the website (WordPress/Elementor) to support campaigns, lead generation, and data‑driven decision making. - Partnerships and events
– build strong supplier and partner relationships, support industry programs like

, and lead the delivery and promotion of flagship events including the Sydney Markets Foundation Cherry Ball, trade shows, and education sessions. - Team leadership and reporting
– lead a small team of two, track KPIs, report to the CEO and Board, and ensure compliance and risk requirements are met.
About you
You are a strategic operator and hands‑on marketer with experience turning ideas into outcomes. You thrive in a small team where every decision counts, and you enjoy managing the full cycle - from business case and campaign to sales results and reporting.
You will bring:
- 5+ years in product, marketing, or commercial management roles with proven impact on growth and revenue.
- Experience leading campaigns, managing digital platforms (HubSpot, WordPress), and using data to inform decisions.
- Proficient in HubSpot (Sales & Marketing Hubs for campaigns, workflows, reporting), WordPress with Elementor (content updates, SEO optimisation), productivity tools (e.g. Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite, with proven ability to execute campaigns, manage leads, and track performance to deliver business outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen and confidence managing budgets, pricing, and partner contracts.
- Demonstrated experience launching product offerings end-to-end, from conception, business case and supplier negotiations, to market testing, launch and delivery.
- Leadership skills to manage a small, capable team and work closely with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Exposure to the fresh produce, FMCG, or related sectors is highly regarded.
- Must have member-based organisation experience.
Experience in a small to medium-sized business or startup environment; greenfield project experience highly regarded.
