Temporary Violin Teacher (5-Week Position)

Clavier Music & Art is seeking a friendly and dedicated violin teacher to cover lessons for 5 weeks, from 10 November to 10 December. This is a temporary in-person teaching role at our Hurstville studio.

About the Role You will be teaching around 13 students across Mondays and Wednesdays (approximately 7–8 hours per week). Lessons range from beginner to intermediate levels.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Classically trained in violin
  • Adaptable in teaching style and materials
  • Warm, patient, and able to communicate concepts clearly to students of all ages

Details:

  • Period: 10 November – 10 December
  • Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays (7–8 hours total per week)
  • Pay Rate: $50–$60 per hour (based on experience)
  • Employment Type: Subcontract
  • Location: Suite 2, 172 Forest Rd, Hurstville NSW 2220
