Are you a skilled Technical Writer with a proven ability to distill complex information into clear, consistent, and accurate documentation? We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to support a dynamic, high-profile program for a large Federal Government client.

About the Role

As a Technical Writer, you will work across multiple project streams within a complex program environment. You'll be responsible for synthesising inputs from various contributors into a unified voice, maintaining technical accuracy, and ensuring documentation adheres to high standards of style, structure, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
  • Unify content from multiple authors into a consistent and professional format.
  • Ensure documents meet internal quality standards and align with contract and program requirements.
  • Manage documentation timelines across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work closely with project managers, schedulers, technical leads, and test teams.
  • Engage and manage relationships with senior stakeholders and demanding clients.
  • Conduct reviews and quality assurance of deliverables to ensure compliance and consistency.

Key Requirements

  • NV1 security clearance
    (must be current).
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex clients
  • Strong ability to manage documentation across
    multiple project streams
    within large programs.
  • Proven experience interpreting and working with
    detailed, large-scale contracts
    .
  • Excellent
    written and verbal communication
    skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of success in
    customer-facing roles
    , including both individual and team-based engagements.
  • Ability to work effectively in
    high-pressure environments
    with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Comfortable collaborating with
    cross-functional teams
    , including program and project managers, schedulers, test managers, and technical teams.

Preferred Location

While this role offers location flexibility, preference will be given to candidates based on the
East Coast of Australia
