About The Role
We are currently seeking a talented Jr. Staff Writer based in Sydney to join our Australian team As part of a dynamic and rapidly expanding startup environment, this role offers an exceptional opportunity for a journalist and social media creative to showcase their skills to a large and highly engaged audience. We are seeking someone who can craft engaging, original content about life in Australia for our Secret Media platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Discover compelling stories and generate a plethora of article ideas related to Australia.
• Write engaging, accurate, and informative editorial articles swiftly on various topics.
• Create social media posts.
• Develop innovative ideas for implementation across social channels.

About You
We're looking for someone who:

• Possesses native-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Is passionate about exploring the best and most exciting experiences Australia has to offer.
• Has previous experience in digital writing.
• Demonstrates a love for storytelling and content creation.
• Has a working knowledge of social media best practices and a keen interest in staying updated on the latest trends in social media and digital platforms.
• Exhibits a keen news sense, understanding what makes a story shareable on social media.
• Is familiar with social and digital publishing tools, with a strong organizational approach to managing their responsibilities.
