We are leader in the field of building automation and energy management within the control environment for commercial and industrial buildings, providing completely customised service installing, designing, upgrading, commissioning and end-to-end project delivery. Due to company growth we are seeking experienced and 'hands on' a BMS Service Engineer to join our well-established team in Brisbane.

Interstate travel may be required for training.

The Role:

You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and servicing Building Automation / Energy Management Systems, along with performing scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.

You will be expected to work closely with customers adopting a consultative approach in understanding their needs and providing solutions to further expand and improve their existing systems. You will also have the opportunity to complete projects and upgrade works on new and existing sites.

A day-to-day may consist of:

  • Carrying out routine service, reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance works.
  • Programming of BMS/HVAC control systems.
  • Analysing data straight from a building BMS to gain clarity on systems/faults.
  • Project management and small project work.
  • Working directly with our clients in a technical advisory/consultative capacity.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical or relevant field.
  • At least 3 years ofindustry experience within electrical, HVAC, instrumentation/controls, security, data or other related trade work.
  • Hands-on experience with cabling or mechanical-electrical and a desire to further learn and develop these skills.
  • An interest in developing skills related to IT and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A thirst for challenge and a strong aspiration to excel in your career
  • Availability to participate in a rotating 8-hour shared roster
  • Current driving License.

Successful candidates will be remunerated with a competitive Base Salary ($77K - $87K) + Super + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card + Phone/laptop.
